By road from Athens (200 km, approx. 2h30):
Follow the National road Athens – Corinthos-Tripoli and continue towards Sparti. About 20 km after Tripoli, take left following the signs, that are only in greek, for Kastanitsa (Καστανίτσα) – Vamvakou (Βαμβακού) – Karyes (Καρυές) – Varvitsa (Βαρβίτσα) – Vourvoura (Βουρβουρα).
By road from Sparti (40 km, approx. 45’):
Follow the National Road Sparti – Tripoli. After about 20 km, take right and follow the direction for the villages Kastanitsa (Καστανίτσα) – Vamvakou (Βαμβακού) – Karyes (Καρυές) – Varvitsa (Βαρβίτσα) – Vourvoura (Βουρβουρα).
The Traditional Guesthouses “Meterizi” are situated at the entrance of the village and there is a sign that will lead you to them.
