From Heraklion (65 km, 1 hour approx)
Follow the national road Heraklion-Rethymnon. Take the 5th exit towards Mires and then towards Tympaki and Kokkinos Pirgos.
After the villages of Agia Varvara, Agii Deka and Mires, continue towards Tympaki and, at the crossroad for Faistos, turn left and continue for Matala, Kalamaki and Kamilari.
As soon as you reach the entrance of the village Kamilari, turn left (just after the sign) and at the first crossroad take again left, towards “Petaloudes”.
Continue for 200 meters and after the sign Villa Chalikia, turn left for the dirt road. The guesthouse Niriida is situated 50m further, on your right hand side.
