For your sightseeing, choose the famous little train which has started to operate again.
It stars at Lehonia, goes through the traditional settlements of Ano Yatzea, Ayia Triada, Ay. Thanasio, Pinakaton and ends at Milies.
It is a unique journey, a “must” for everyone who finds himself in this area from spring to autumn, as it does not operate during winter.
Visit as many villages as you can - each one has its own magic.
Admire the magnificent mansions in Milies, Vizitsa, Makrinitsa, Portaria or Tsagarada and their picturesque squares.
Naturally, do not miss the famous village of Tsagarada.
Visit the St. Paraskevi church in the square of the same name with its thousand year maple tree and the beautiful domed springs.
Also visit the church (built in 1746) with its magnificent wood carved temple and the square of Ay. Taxiarhes.
When you reach Zagora through a small but charming route with running waters taste the famous local fruits.
