Pelion is one of the most beautiful areas of Greece. An extraordinary mountain with variegated vegetation and a view to the sea. If you see only Pelion, you will have a good idea of how the remaining Greek landscapes are! Enjoy unique walks in nature. As you ascend you are overwhelmed by the green – as you descend you encounter some of the most amazing beaches in Greece. Crouching in the mountainside, you can see 24 traditional villages - true folkloric and architectural treasures.

The best way to discover this beautiful mountain is by walking through the traditional pathways. Walking routes start from all the villages and they always lead to a surprise: beaches, small churches, stone bridges and chestnut tree woods. It is an experience which you should not miss. For your sightseeing, choose the famous little train which has started to operate again. It stars at Lehonia, goes through the traditional settlements of Ano Gatzea, Agia Triada, Ag. Athanasio Pinakaton and ends at Milies. It is a unique journey, a “must” for everyone who finds himself in this area from spring to autumn as it does not operate during winter.
Visit as many villages as you can - each one has its own magic. Admire the magnificent mansions in Milies, Vizitsa, Makrinitsa, Portaria or Tsagarada and their picturesque squares.
Argalasti is the perfect starting point to discover the inland region and the wonderful beaches of the eastern side. You will encounter in the region numerous springs and you will be able to quench your thirst from pure spring water.
Visit the nunnery of Prodromos near Siki.
Make a stop in Milina, a small port used by sponge collectors and at the top of the South part, the village of Trikeri will make you feel as if you have reached the end of the world.
In the south side of Pelion you will discover very picturesque and romantic small villages like Siki, Xinovrisi, Kallithea and Afissos with its three beautiful beaches.
