Kythnos is a quiet and authentic island, located in the Cyclades, between Kea, Serifos and Syros.
Famous for its thermal waters, it is also known as Thermia, because of its hot springs. Its proximity to the mainland, less than 2 hours, allows visitors to discover this charming island even during a weekend.
On Kythnos, you will find many bays and coves where beautiful beaches with fine sand and few visitors are nested, while the inhabitants are very hospitable.

ACTIVITIES
Merichas is a small fishermen village and, at the same time, the main port of the island. It is situated at the bottom of a natural gulf surrounded by a beautiful sandy beach and is full of life during the weekends when yachts anchor to enjoy the excellent fresh fish offered by taverns.

Kythnos or Chora, 7 km towards the inland, is the capital of the island, built on a hillside. It is very pleasant to stroll through the town with its arched streets, stone houses with balconies full of flowers, small churches and whitewashed narrow streets with decorative motifs on the ground.

Driopida, 5 km from the port, is a charming, colorful and peaceful village with some beautiful churches and a small museum of folk art.

Loutra is a small fishermen village and the only natural spa in the Cyclades, known for its hot springs and sulphurous sources with healing properties.

Kanala is renowned for its beaches and coves protected from the wind and for the monastery of Panagia Kanala, patron of the island, with a splendid view over the Aegean and the miraculous icon of the Virgin at the inside of the church.
