The Guest Inn network recommends small, undiscovered treasures
of the Greek islands

Small Aegean islands located off the trails of mass tourism can offer holidays that focus on authenticity and on your getting acquainted with the daily life of local communities. For your stay, we recommend that you choose small guest houses that harmonize with the natural environment.
The guest houses boast of the hospitality of owners who are willing to reveal to the lucky guests all the "secrets" for thorough explorations.
So, discover the islands of Skyros, Alonissos and the faraway island of Kastelorizo with us. Small dots on the vastness of the Aegean, ideal destinations for those seeking something different while on vacation.

Far from the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Skiathos and the family warmth of Skopelos, Alonissos is justly considered the "alternative" proposition of northern Sporades. Here, at the secluded cove of Aghios Petros, you  will find your shelter in the homonymous traditional houses spread over a lush green landscape and just a few meters from the beach with the turquoise waters. The three comfortable houses and the large farmhouse that houses four studios have been constructed with respect to the natural environment and are located in a large garden with olive, almond and fruit trees.
Alonissos, with its many marked trails, is ideal for hiking trips and the hospitable owners will provide you with maps and useful information. A boat trip around the island will take you to the protected marine park of the Monachus-Monachus seals.

On the unique island of Skyros, you will enjoy your holiday in the Ariadne Studios & apartments. The studios and apartments are located in a lush garden with fruit trees, just 50 meters from Magazia, a long beach. In the village that is by the sea, you can enjoy the romantic sunset and sample local specialties at the taverns.
You will walk in Chora (the capital of Skyros) and climb up till the imposing rock on top of which there is a Venetian fortress. You will visit traditional houses and workshops that make even today traditional wood furniture. You will attend pastry and Greek Mythology seminars that are organized in the guest house and you will go on hiking in the places where the characteristic small local horses of Skyros live.

On the faraway, near the border of Turkey Kastellorizo, a tiny island of the Dodecanese, the holidays have the flavor of past decades. The Karnagio guesthouse is located at Megisti, the only port and the capital of the island and consists of two restored neoclassical houses. Here you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of the original natural environment.
The excursions on the island include marked hiking trails that will bring you to hills with little churches and monasteries. The sea trips in small boats will bring you to the neighboring islets of Strogili and Ro, where you can swim in idyllic coves, and explore sea caves.
